Ah, the weekend. Mine is over... I have a math test tomorrow. Hmm. Went to a fake-ass wannabe hawaiian loo-ow (sp) yesterday... dressed up like a hula girl (pictures forthcoming). Hmm. Yeah that's about it. Only about a month left of school, oh shit! I gotta get on the ball and apply to CU Denver. God I suck. Oh yeah, I dyed my hair again on Friday... blonde be gone... I want you out of my life forever! I'm a brunette again. Yeeeeup. Such excitement, I know.

I had a post here about Rick Stanley's trial, but I made another page to put it on here, along with a few other stories that have run in the Rocky Mountain News about him, and a media release he sent out in response to his conviction.
I don't have much to say about the trial, seems kind of lousy to talk about it since he lost. I testified for oh, about 5 minutes. Got to see one of the "threatened" judges testify, Marshall I think it was. That was pretty interesting, hearing his side of what had happened as a result of everything. Yeah, I feel bad talking about it, so go read those articles if it interests you. Stanley's webpage can be found here.

My weekend in review... let's see. Friday night, pool and drinking. I don't remember anything else. That's not as bad as it sounds, I forget a lot of stuff. That's not as bad as it sounds either. Okay, it's all as bad as it sounds. Saturday, the word "icky" took on new meaning as I ran a network cable through my houses attic. The rumor about that pink insulation stuff itching... very true. Saturday night, went to a great Rockies game versus Baltimore, the Rockies gave em a beat down. It was a great game... pictures forthcoming. Sunday, moving furniture (I'm expanding my empire, added a new room to my borders, that which was formerly in my mother's domain (mwahaha)). Hung out with Anthony, we played some ping pong (I am not the World Champion), played some old school Nintendo, watched Finding Nemo. Great movie. That about wraps it up.
Tomorrow promises to be, well, another day. I have to get up really goddamn early and drive up to Brighton... going to court to testify about my old boss. I'm hoping to get a few good plugs in for my business... "Well I left employment there to start my own company, Jameson Designs, Web Design and Hosting Solutions, with hard to beat rates and the friendliest customer service around, you can't go wrong with Jameson Designs!". They'll have to cut me off. In reality though court is scary and I will probably just be a scared little girl up on the stand. I'll swear on that Bible, wave to my new friends at the FBI and Thornton P.D. who came and copied my harddrives, and a good time will be had by all. Hopefully my old boss won't get too screwed, he sure has pissed off a lot of people over the last few years though. We shall see.

Many thanks to Shaun for a whopping 7 DewU points! He's my hero! Anyone that sends me points will have infinitely good karma with me... I'll even make a webpage in your honor... that's actually worth something! An "honoring" webpage here, not your own webpage. I'm not a machine. Anyway, send away! Email them... ICQ them... yahoo them... AOL them... snail mail them (I'm not giving you my address, you'll have to stalk me, but if you could do that you'd already have it), fill out my submission form, whatever. I'll be the happiest girl in the whole world! I'm going to add a point submission form to this page, which just tickles me for some reason. Hooray!

Well, I've got 4 DewU points so far. 221 more to go till...
A great leap in video game evolution…...
Xbox Live is the ultimate online gaming experience, giving you the opportunity to play and talk with your friends and other gamers around the world any time, day or night!
This Xbox Live starter kit includes a 12 month subscription, the Xbox Live communicator - a device that allows you to chat with other gamers while playing - and a copy of the multi-player online hit, MechAssault.
If you don’t have Xbox Live, you aren’t really gaming.
See that? I'm not really gaming :( So if a 20 oz Code Red costs something like $1.19, I only need to spend $262.99 on Code Red till I have my kit. Awesome!!!
Let's see... oh yeah, an update. Umm... I saw the new Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was cool... I liked the first two better but it was still good. Kept very close to the book, which is always good. I'm reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire now, so that's cool. Harry Potter rules. Saw Mystic River also... that was okay. I liked it... kind of bizarre, but still good.

Well I'm putting off studying for my math test in all the ways I can possibly imagine. Good time to update the blog I'd say. Let's see what mysteries my digital camera holds.
I like buildings.

I like ducks too. Baby ducks eat lake vomit I guess.

This is my work environment. This is where the magic happens folks.

This is what my computer looks like on the inside without harddrives. That's a funny story... I'll tell you about it some time.

Guess I'd better get to that studying now. Math sucks.

Happy Birthday Josh and KT!

I ran across an awesome perl command I'm going to quote here for future reference. This all powerful command will search and replace text in all the files in a directory (and I think recursively as well, not sure though) leaving the files in place, so no backups necessary, no copying and moving or anything, which is good if you have a million things to change and are confident you won't screw up. I wasn't particularly confident changing like 300 files on a clients server, but I am now! Boy howdy. Perl is awesome.
# find . -type f | xargs perl -pi -e 's/findthis/replacewiththis/g'
Yep... good command to know. Hmm... umm... nothing else is new. I'm sort of conflicted about something... I want to make a tutorials section to do miscellaneous web stuff, just on the off chance I'd actually have something worthwhile to offer the "web", but if I tell too much, no one will pay me to do anything for them any more. Of course so few people pay me now... it hardly matters.
I guess the kind of people that read tutorials aren't going to pay anyone anyways unless they can't figure something out... so my only real problem would be to write really good tutorials that would leave no one needing me afterward. "A good teacher makes themselves progressively unnecessary." Makes sense. Well who knows. I'm just itching to do something worthwhile I guess... have something good to offer the internet world. Besides naked pictures *wink*. I don't know who I think I'm winking at. Somebody slap me! *slap* Must be bedtime.

Record setting heat today... yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Baby. Haven't had anything really to say lately... been doing the same stuff... seeing the same people... thinking the same things... dying a little every time I have to put gas in my car. This is my life.

Happy June. I hope it warms up... being cold in May was silly, but being cold in June will be obnoxious. Of course Colorado has a way with having obnoxious weather. I see 80's in the five-day, so that's good.
I beat Pandora Tomorrow on normal level difficulty, next I'm going to beat it on hard level. I thought it might be gay to play all over again, but it's kind of cool knowing how many guys and where they all will be. No surprises there, but you can always mix up how you deal with them. And on hard level they mess you up quick if they spot you, so I'm working on only getting headshots. Yes, an honorable pursuit, I know. Also I've run into stuff that I missed somehow the first time around. It's cool because there are sidetracks... most games will keep you on a certain path and you can't venture too far off of it, it's mostly one of these games. But sometimes there will be a big building and you're allowed to just wander all around even if there's nothing in the majority of rooms. I like that. Being able to wander is important to me, I hate it when they seal stuff off.
I made perhaps a bad comparison as to the length of the game. The last game I came anywhere near conquering was Final Fantasy VII on Playstation. That game took, literally, months and months of play to beat (although technically I got to the end but never beat it, sad). Splinter Cell took me like a week. Kind of a shame I guess, I wanted it to go on forever. But rumor has it there's a terrific multiplayer aspect I've yet to explore. If I collect 225 DewU points, I can get an Xbox Live kit! My cousin told me about that... I'm not much of a point collector, but I do like the idea of having some kind of goal, stupid as it may be. So for now I'm in training, getting really good at S.C. Then in like 2 years after I collect all those points, I'll get a Live kit, and go school some ass online. Of course no one will play it any more, and I'll have spent more in soda than I would've just buying the kit, but I will have accomplished something in my own little way. I think I'm going to put that in my entrance essay to CU.
